dot asia worth developing based in Aus?

I have lovepotion.asia and we manufacture a natural skin care product which we send to Hong Kong. We are going to have a minisite developed for this product and wonder if you guys think that this would be a good name for the site as we are australian based. Any idea if any dot asia sites are being developed?

why not get some that will represent the "skin" not "love"

given that you market to Hong Kong i think it would be a good idea. New developed .asia sites are popping up all over the place every day. In google, type the following

site:.asia

this lists all websites indexed by Google that have the .asia extension.

Do note though that if you expect people in Hong Kong to access your website, their main language is Cantonese and Mandarin. So that revives the IDN and ccTLD debate.

...especially if you position the message around the idea that your product will do wonders for the beauty of your natural skin - and help you be even more beautiful to that special man/woman in your life...

Australia is really Oceanana more than Asia but technically it is part of Asia. But I do have a few Asia names like SydneyTravel.asia etc.
