Dot ASIA

Hi, I'm a noob and was just wondering what the general concensus was for the new Dot ASIA sTLD.

I personally registered a few of these and am curious if there is a good market for Dot ASIA yet.?? I won't bore you with a huge list.. but here are a couple... Please let me know your thoughts..

(I noticed another member here owns realpoker.mobi and was quoted minimum $5k all the way up to a possible 6 figure mark! Is Dot.mobi better than Dot.asia??)

Caveat emptor ... please, friends ... with the lowly ".ASIA"! :o :imho:

At the moment, I am reserving judgement on .asia as there is a problem with allegations over the auction. I checked the count of live domains in the .asia zone earlier in the week and it was only around 162K. There was some hope that .asia would not be afflicted with the same level of moronic registry incompetence (Eurid) that destroyed the .eu ccTLD. Apart from these auctions, things seem to be running smoothly. But these auction allegations, if proven correct, will damage .asia TLD.

There will be some initial high value .asia sales but it will take at least another two years before anyone can say for definite if it is a failure or success.

No, unless you own ultra premium keywords

you see continent tld is something new, there are only 2 of them at the moment: .eu and .asia No one knows how they'd perform in the future, but you definitely want to stick to a few top names only, preferably top dictionary words. anything else is 99% loss of money.

Well I see potential in good .asia's which is why I bought petition.asia for such a high price the day they came out even though there were many other very nice reg fee domains.
