Hello,

I'm looking to sign up to a good rx affiliate program.

from what I'm seeing there is a big differences between the programs, so of them offering up to 30% and others offering up 60-70%.

can someone please explain to me what is the differences between them and how does it make sence that some offers 30% and others 70%??

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
It depends on the products, and the prices they set, those offering lower commissions may have smaller margins to work with.

And don't base your choice of affiliate program solely on the commission rates, do your research on the company itself, there's alot of crap out in the online rx market to sift through.

Percentages mean nothing if they 1) don't convert or 2) they don't pay you.

The first one is easy - look at their site. Would YOU buy from them? If not, your visitors probably won't either. Would you recommend them to your family? Would you let your Mom take something she bought from there?

As for the 2nd, like RazorNF said, research the company themselves. Some companies claim to offer huge payouts to attract the naive. Then they reverse most of your sales (or the sales never get recorded to begin with) - in the end they get free advertising and you get less than you would with a lower percentage elsewhere. Just one of many ways sleazy merchants cheat affiliates.

Exactly Do your research. There are more scams then legit offers this day and age. Do your research and see if they are paying out on time (google abccompany affiliate review).

This need to be underlined and highlighted.

Develop a site with specific targeted visitors. Then pick a program that you will most likely get converts regardless of the payout to you. Collect a data base from this (and some $$), then start thinking about testing other programs later.

\/ thanks for that DU

Just a warning:

A lot of Rx affiliate programs are illegal in the US and your domain may be shut down by ICE or other programs depending on where you are registered.

If you can buy something that you shouldn't be able to .. do you really want to deal with it? It's not always obvious who is legit. And yes - it's possible to be shut down JUST FOR LINKING.

So - find one that's legal... there's probably an approved list. You're best off sticking with the regular companies imho.

It depends entirely on the product and their rate ste for each product , you promote the costly products , you get high commision - simple rule.
