Okay, so I have a free guestbook site. I purchased this sometime last year, I think it was like November or something. I made small amounts each month from Clickbank. The way the guestbook script was designed, I couldn't get the Adsense code in - so no Adsense.

In February, I decided I needed to change this. I was busy with college and work, but I just decided it would only take me a few minutes and it was something I really needed to do.

But I didn't.


Until two days ago, Thursday night. I finally got into the code, changed it so that it would show Google Ad Links, instead of Clickbank. I made $~4.50 from the site yesterday, and today I'm already at $~4.40, which is pretty decent for a Saturday.

And it took me less than 10 minutes. Now let's just do the math on all the money I lost by procrastinating. Let's just say I were only making 1 dollar per day for the months of March, April, May, June, and July. At the very minimum, I missed out on at least $150 dollars revenue - and all because I just kept putting it off. And I'm being nice to myself by saying it was probably only $150. I know I lost more than that.


So that little thing that you keep putting off - don't put it off. DO IT RIGHT NOW. Close some browser windows, close some chat windows, or turn off the TV. Just take the 10 minutes or so, and get it done.

Is it something more complicated that you can't handle? Post a project here on NP or on Scriptlance [unrelated note: if you use them - how about using my affiliate link? ], you can get someone to do your project for low amounts.


I hope this motivates you to get some stuff done. Hopefully it motivates me too, because even though I posted about this... I still put stuff off. I've tons of projects I could be working on.

well to put your worries at ease, I've been working on a CMS problem I've had for a couple of days now - and I'm about to throw this entire computer out through the window. I wish I could put it off for ummm lets say FOREVER, but I can't because our website project is dependent of this fuction that I'm working on!

Sometimes, it just sucks when you want something to work so bad - you just can't figure it out! Barefoottech got me into all this, it's all his fault I can't sleep at nights anymore he he

Post it on Scriptlance! If it's simplish, then you'll get low bids. There are lots of people who are willing to do stuff for cheap because they want the positive rating.

Seriously though, I had a major feature added to my guestbooks. Actually 2 features, and it only cost me $10. Well, $15 if you count the 5 dollar fee to Scriptlance.

hehe, it's nothing the guys at Scriptlance can work out for me. It's a CMS - a whole bunch of files I need to edit and tweak and they don't seem to end up the way I want them to. So I've been fiddeling with this for almost 3 days now, and I can't get it right. Well it's partially right, but some of it is way off too!

Again, I blame barefootie for my sleepless nights now
