Startups are the most willing to pay big money for their brands. Like we just raised few millions lets put some on a decent name a fruit name or whatever sparkling coin .com.
In short they dont care.

Nowadays, almost every startup squanders VC money, UberEats here in India blew away $3bn+ VC funds, failing miserably, with that cash -- gave free tablets to restaurants, big discounts and what not (but sucked at customer support, etc.), such stories are so common these days.

It is strange that we celebrate those companies that raise lots of money over those who grow organically more slowly and frugally, but indeed it does seem that in recent years that is what is done. All the talk is about how much money a company has raised, rather than how brilliant their idea is or how sound their business plan is or how simply successful on meeting milestones they are.

Yes, I know to get funding does reflect how well they do the other things, but every business press article that gloats over funds raised sort of has it wrong in my opinion. Of course I am cheap and frugal :xf.eek:.

Startups that raised capital have the money to spend on the right domain, those type of startups usually fail because they already started with millions, the founders aren't as eager to succeed because they're already getting paid, as opposed to someone starting with nothing.
