This is a bit of a vent post. I just sold bestdeals.io on Flippa for $11! I had much higher hopes for the sale as it had 22 watchers and in closing 135 views, the most I've had. The problem was that I received a bid before I could change the end time to sometime this evening (usually I choose between 6-9pm pst). I also, did not set a reserve and then re-list for free if it didn't meet the reserve, a practice I do every time now. The silver lining is I will at least get a positive review and continue to build my 100% reputation on Flippa.

If it's any comfort, I don't really see much value in it... $11 sounds about right to me.

No reserve auctions usually don't do as well as the seller hopes, IMHO. Risky business for sure.

You mean setting a reserve, then relisting as a no reserve auction is not good? It attracted a lot of attention, but I suppose they just were curious if it held any value and that's all. Thought I do think the timing of the end of the auction wasn't great.

Anyone else been successful ending their auctions Thursday afternoon?

Wednesday is by far the best day to end your auction on:

We don't have data on auction closing times, but it doesn't surprise me that mornings are bad. Would be curious to hear what other people think are good times. Maybe ending them around when NameJet/DropCatch auctions are ending because domainers are at their computers paying attention?

I usually end my listings on Wed.'s between 6-9pm pst, but I didn't want to end two listings around the same time though I suppose that might not matter. I also did a little research just through Google and found that most domain sales are on Wednesdays. The best time is still tbd. Thanks for replying.
