This guy made an offer to me via PM from this thread...

http://www.namepros.com/developed-sites-for-sale/371339-nintendogstalk-com-137k-posts.html

You can see even in that thread he made a $550 offer.

Well this is the PM I got from him. He asked me about the NintendogsTalk.com and my FinalFantasyForum.com site.

Lee said:
Okay, the FF forum is definitely more than I wanted to pay. Regarding the Nintendogs forum, will you take $600 today?

Lee

So I replied with a YES I will accept his offer and my paypal address for payment.

A couple days go by. I sent him a couple PMs. Here is one...

Where are we on this? I have a lot of interest and if you aren't willing to come through with payment then I am going to leave you negative feedback and place it back up for sale. I see you already have one for backing out of a bid. I can't say that makes me comfortable dealing with you.

I know you read my PM yet you have not responded. Another bad sign. If by end of day today you haven't paid I will not sell to you.

My paypal is [email protected].

-Jesse

I know he read them because he was on the site. Yesterday I get this PM from him.

Jesse,

I am out of town in PA with my friends at Pepperjam. I made you an offer of $600 but didn't commit at that price with any words of I will pay today or anything. I have a partner and wanted to get a response from you to take to him as we were consider your site amongst several others we had our eyes on. I am sorry you feel I commited, but I hadn't. I am also sorry for a slow reply but again I am out of town with limited net access.

Lee

So in his head it wasn't an offer even though he admits "I made you an offer of $600".

Needless to say this pisses me off but shit happens.

So I left him negative feedback. Ironically he has another $600 offer he made to another member and backed out.

Of course he did a panzy revenge negative feedback on me. He just went from pissing me off to having me full on gonna go after him for this.

Offer Was Made For Site As An Inquiry, I Never Obligated Myself To Buy

That's the feedback he left me. As you can clearly see this guy is a complete moron. He states "offer was made"....yeah...and I accepted it. That's a contract. I wouldn't have made this thread except for his negative feedback.

I plan to follow him around every site he visits to make sure that EVERYONE knows the type of person he is to deal with. The $600 bucks ain't a big deal I will sell the site eventually but what ticks me off is his bullcrap excuse and negative he left me for basically exposing his BS.

GRRRR....

There ya go Lee....enjoy the thread. Don't come crying to me either.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I think he likes to think he's a big spender and as you suggest has a history of backing out. Not good.

I feel your anger. See my sig :)

Retaliatory feedback is not allowed at Namepros. This ain't eBay. I've had this happen to me before. Report it to ManicGirl or another mod and they will most likely give him a warning and remove the feedback. After it's removed you can PM him a naaah-nahnah-na-nah-naaaaah!!! (Just kidding on that last suggestion)

Why should retaliatory negative feedback be allowed. Negative feedback should only be left if the person has not acted well in a transaction and not if someone left you negative so you want to leave them negative back.

Yes personally I also had this kind of probs before.

Some people say sold and write PM sent in the threads but that PM never arrives.

Some people give a negative trader rating if I say no I cannot get you on top of google for that keyword for mere $10 :D

But Nice thread to bring out the hidden culprits. Atleast someone somewhere will get a hint that everyone doesn't likes it that way.

May i ask, why is it childish? It is childish to make an offer, and then not paying up.

Correct, if someone don't intend to pay when a offer is accepted it's not professional and childish as only kids will make offers that they can't back up.

If you make an offer you show interest to buy at that price.
When someone doesn't follow through your wasting someone's time.

TR removed by staff and Lee PMed me an apology. Satisfying enough.

Thanks everyone for support.

Lee....just be aware when you make an offer...you have to be willing to pay that offer.
