Anybody have much luck with a 'make donation' button on your website ? What's the minimum someone can donate with paypal ? Can you donate 1 cent ? Thanks

I believe you can donate one cent, but that would be eliminated by PP fees.

Right. Once one cracker tried to pay me 0.1 USD and thought my system will give him the automatic download for the product. [Which my system didn't]

And when I saw in paypal it was just $0.

So some amounts are surely going to be $0 if they are even around 10 cents.

Anything below like 30 cents will become $0 after PP fees.

So, if somebody donates less than $. 30cts to you, their actually donating that amount to PayPal.

I haven't done a donation button yet, but have a client who is interested. No way to place a minimum limit on it?

I don't believe you can set a minimum, but I think you can set a fixed price for the donations.

Thanks for your help. I looked at paypal's website and emailed them, but got nothing back. Hard to believe there is still not viable micropayment system.Think cybercash tried to do something but couldn't work it out. It'd be great to be able to put a 'tip jar' icon on your site and have people pop in a few cents. I've wanted to donate to some sites,but the high minimum kept me from doing so.
