I have some intresting domains... The .com's for some companies without registered TM that Net's billions.

Why shouldnt they have the .com registered? The companies are located in Brazil & Chile and currently use the .com.br and .cl extensions.

I have never done a similar domainsale before so I need someone that could arrange this sale for me, a broker.

Please contact me if you know someone appropriate.

I suggest you get these domains appraised before attempting to sell them. Namepros has a dedicated forum created for this express purpose.

This will give you some idea if the domains have any value and may save you a lot of time and energy (and renewal fees). IMO.

There could be TM issues involved with this, even in the absence of any registered TM.

Well microguy, i doubt it will be easy for random members to estimate the value of non-generic domains.. I guess the appraisal has to take the companies expansion strategies etc. into consideration?

But i should definitely give it a try!

No, we will never be able to give you an absolute number that is definitely what you will get without a penny over or under, no one can but do you really expect a company to offer you exactly what you want every time?

Even in the same company someone running the show will have wildly differing views to another and often times will not have a clue to its potential and have to rely on some techie who doesn't know which way his Star Wars underpants are turned and has absolutely no authority to make a decision anyway.

The best way for it to happen is to get some idea of whether it has any potential at all...

Aaaalphaadvertising is completely useless since you are stretching it out for the yellow pages, whereas AlphaAdvertising is while long actually a good name and one that I would love to put up for appraisal since it actually sounds right and is quite brandable.

Depending on the domain, trying to sell a company a domain name with their own name could be considered "bad faith". I don't think it has to be a trademark for this to be true.

My understanding is that if you conact a company oand offer to sell them a domain like the one they are using and the only reason you have the domain is to do this, that it can be consdiered "bad faith".

I suggest you do a search for "domain name broker" in Google and contact some companies that provide this service. They should be able to tell you if what you want to do is possible or at bad idea.

TM's aside, remember your probably setting yourself up to have only one enduser per name. An enduser that pickes up on that sitution then lowballs you hard.
