Why do 99% of you ignore what people ask for in this section of Name Pros?

I ask for domains containing the word Green or Yellow, you reply with "Would you consider Orange or Blue?"

I ask for domains containing Cannabis or Hemp, you reply with "Would you consider Weed or Ganja?"

Do you know that some people would uppercut you for doing such things in person?

Maybe you need to experience such a thing?

Name Pros: Invest some of those ad dollars into fixing this issue. It's become a huge problem to those who still care. Thing is, we're caring a lotttt less because this a whole lotta names, and a lot less "pros"

It's your personal problem. I would just ignore the domains if I have no interest to buy. You are wrong to complain for such a tiny problem. Even it's rude to complain for this. Because people spend time for sending PM's while you only read those PM's and have ability to ignore any of them. If this is a big issue for you, you don't have to post WTB threads here or other forums. Forums are for negotiations and discussions. If you don't like to negotiate you can use sedo or other marketplaces to buy a domain. I wasted time by reading and replying this thread that was posted to a wrong section.

I only read 5 words of what you wrote, because you wrote a lot ....

Time is money. Simply put, don't waste my time.

I have 2,000 "tiny" problems (2,000 PM's of domains I wasnt seeking)

2,000 "tiny" problems = 1 oversized problem.

I appreciated getting similar suggestions to what I was looking for. But I'm not at your level yet and able to consider all possibilities before seeing them, I'm only playing 2d chess, but perhaps simply ignoring them or a friendly "No thanks" will save you from these hardships you're facing?

This is entirely the wrong attitude.

OP likely shouldn't be venting in the marketplace area, but his point is completely valid.

Buyers post specific requirements because they want specific types of domains. To submit anything outside of what they asked is completely rude and a waste of the buyer's time.

How would you like to be shopping for clothing at the mall, only to have a dozen owners of other stores approach you to say, "Hey, since you're at the mall, want to come buy a vacuum/necklace/computer/book?"

Serious buyer/seller doesn't complain for having more offers. Spam may be a problem but having zero offer is definitely a much bigger problem. People can offer similar domains for consideration unless you explicitly mention about this. If having 2000 PM's is a problem, OP causes this. Otherwise you will be blaming 2000 persons for sending spam PMs while only the OP is right for complaining about this. 2,000 people will be wrong while the only 1 people is right. Is this logical?

@DomainAuction Hey there,

I understand it can be frustrating as a buyer sometimes when people are ignoring criteria you specify for your WTB threads. That said we do have rules in place to deal with exactly this issue HERE and this includes PM's.

Sadly many PM's of this nature go unreported because people feel as indicated above, that it's easier to ignore them and move on because it's unimportant and not worth the effort. If these PM's aren't reported then we can't intervene and remind those who need it of any applicable rules. As such I would greatly encourage you and anyone receiving spam of this nature to report them so we can actually deal with the problem.

If you have any suggestions on how we can improve this section further please, feel free to post a fresh thread in the relevant section (this is for WTB requests only) or drop me a PM.

Thread closed.
