Domains never registered before

I found a few domains that look good but when I checked their history they have never been registered. Does this mean they are worthless? Or is it possible to find great domains that have never been registered before.?

anythings possible. Before you register be sure you know what you want to do with the domain. If your reselling, check and see the domains popularity on google search and keywords. Be sure you check similar sales. etc. Theres likely a reason its never been regged, but it could be worth some research, you never know.

hard to say without knowing what the names are. As the internet evolves and new niche's emerge, this may allow for new potential names to evolve. some examples of new strong key words that have become popular because of changes in the industry; cloud, crowd, app, etc.

Actually, there is no shortage of decent domains, if you intend to develop them.
For the purpose of resale you need to set the bar higher.

Did you check if they had any domain history at DomainTools? Just doing a whois search and finding them available doesn't mean they haven't been registered before.

Are any other tld's registered? If yes, they might be worth a punt at regfee, and try to sell them to the other tld, but check for trademarks first.

I know it's not very accurate but does Estibot give them any value? Are there any searches or CPC at Estibot? If not then I would say they are probably not worth regging.

Did you search NameBio to see if they were maybe sold in the past?

Unless it is a new technology or thing that happened recently I think that this domain is not worth registration.

well some domains were never thought of being registered because they didn't make sense and are deemed worthless by many. but things change and people are crazy enough to give new terminologies, jargon, and things for us to add to our vocabulary.

im guessing this is a compound word that sounds good? maybe you could try a little research, that should give you an idea if you'll be able to resell it in a few years time. then again, sometimes you won't know about certain new inventions until patents, tms, and things like domains have been secured, so i guess you can always follow your gut and speculate, as others do. it's always a gamble but hey, goodluck
