Ok so I dumped about 200 names over to DomainHop today. What a pain in the butt it was changing all the URL forwarding. However I see that they tend to pay better than Sedo so I am trying it once again.
Any tips or tricks to set keywords , meta etc? Or should I let them handle it all? And how long can I expect to go live with all the meta, and keywords?
Thanks
Tips Tricks or other welcome.

I hope you have better luck than I did! I only moved 100 of my domain names from Sedo to DomainHop... which took an eternity... Just to end up moving them all back to Sedo two months later. I will not go into detail, but I only made a fraction of what I was earning at Sedo when I moved to Domain Hop.

Keep in mind these were not high traffic domain names, so I wasn't expecting a miracle, but I get so many more views, clicks, and revenue with Sedo... even with my non-traffic domains.

Please let us know how you make out!

I have 400+ from domainhop. Not really happy. It takes a long time to change desc and meta tags.

Plan to move them to somewhere else soon!

so far I only got 10 dn park at dh each getting +10 unique per day so it add ups. And I'd suggest letting the staffs optimize them for you cuz it could take ages to go over each domain.

I like DomainHop, but I don't understand this meta tag thing... What are they and how do I get a good one?

Just let the staff take care of it, they do fine.

I moved 69 domains from Sedo to DomainHop and the difference to me is clear...

Sedo 3 weeks $1.93

DomainHop 4 days $42.65

Huge difference for me...Sedo dissapointed me

As did I. DH is good stuff.

Did those of you who've had success just let the admin set up your names, or did you do your own customization?

Thank you

I've done both, Jennifer. Self customization is just slightly more effective - not really worth the time though.
Thing is, I don't expect to get a ton of clicks with my pages parked there... I generally park domains there that get traffic through either typos or non-subject related links. For that, Domainhop is loads better than Sedo, due to the CPM bonus, of course.
Sedo is better for domains you expect to get clicks for...but only slightly. Clicks don't pay any better here than at DH (well, top keywords pay about 30% better actually, in my experience) and Sedo doesn't register as much of the traffic to your domains as DH does...
Just my nickel.

I do both just depends on the name, either way it looks about the same although doing it yourself is more rewarding and nobody knows your name better then you..I'd say out of the 69 maybe 40 me and 29 them 8-X

I just do it myself so I know everything all good, and well. :tu:

Thanks for the advice guys and gals. So far nothing is set at DH but I still made over $6 today without any optimization.
So now the task begins as to the meta tags. I like that idea because you can cover the gammit of possibilities for an obscure name.
Keep you posted as to hop this timly experiment pans out.
