Domain value

I know that the popularity of a domain or how many hits it gets is a big part of it's value. Is a domain that doesn't get many hits almost worthless, or could I get more than reg price for it?

depends on quality of the name, length, extension. And if the traffic is coming from existing links or type ins., I hope this helps
