Domain transfer using Registerfly

Have any of you guys tried recently trying to move any domains to RegisterFly? Well I tried with one of my domains, and everytime I check the progress I always get something like this "Could not retrieve contact info from UWhois." The support told me that I should cancel the request and try again, is this RegisterFly's technical problem or what?

I get the same problem on GoDaddy a lot also.
Usually comes down to 1 of 3 issues:
1) The domain is currently at a small registrar that has a funky layout for the "whois" info (Which is what RegFly couldn't find at the moment)
2) The domain was transferred/updated recently, and therefore might not be in the whois system as of yet. or
3) The whois server of your current registrar might have been down temporarily (it happens).

Heh I really don't know what's going on. I e-mailed support so hopefully I should get a response sometime throughout the day.

I have recently transferred a couple of domains to RegisterFly from Godaddy without any problems, but I have had some problems with transfers from small registrars. Try to contact support they seem to answer very fast in business hours.

Iamallanshore nailed it pretty much above. In most cases of that error it means we had problems automatically obtaining the whois info from the current registrar. We normally have more issues with some of the smaller registrars vs the larger ones when it comes to obtaining the domain name contacts. I sent you a PM, please respond if you need me to investigate further.
