I re-entered 4 names and added their age in the notes.

Can you let me know if it works, as far as I am aware there are also robots doing some of the work so that might explain why they reject them due to the age issue ?.

UPDATE BY JAY: If you remove a name, it needs to go through the approval process again. The score will find the name. There are robots working in the background that score and grab data for new domains.


It looks like alot of them are getting negative votes on them.

Domains must be atleast 3 years old? Thats a pretty crappy rule imho as I have a few domains which may have done well. I'm out

It will be interesting to see how the Voting will affect the list! It kind of looks to me that people are probally voting "Bad" for the domains that are Above there names? I don't really see the Voting as helping, because everybody looks at domains different and there will be a lot of people at the auction etc.

If you voted on all names you will notice that "Good: 81 | Bad 7" and Rebate.com rate "Good: 83 | Bad 5" are the highest and best ratio right now.

The same 0-score failure has been widely reported for many days now.

The initial advice from Jay was that it's just a question of time.

They haven't addressed the issue since then.

And waiting doesn't seem to help at all. It used to, but not anymore.

I'm Confused though why finecars.com, goodcars.com and albinos.com are still in the top 5 when they have more bad votes than good. They should all be moved down considerably.

You don't just vote based on the quality of the name - You need to look at the reserve too and some may think it's too high (it's a little too low IMO ).

There is really no guideline on voting. Some may vote on quality, some one pricing vs. quality, some on potential developed revenue, others just to support their friends and lower the rank of competition. I personally think you have to take the ratings with a grain of salt.

Maybe they are using the ratings as a guide to where to insert new names. It doesn't appear from basic observation that the ratings have moved anyone up the list based on a good rating, but something may have been inserted above a lower rating. I almost prefer not to have my names near the very front or very end of the list. Some auctions get off to a slow start and some fizzle out after a while. I think I'd rather be placed somewhere between 10 and 150. It might also be better to have lower reserve auctions at the front to start to get sales, and some choice names near the end to keep interest through the full list. I guess there are different strategies they could take.

When I do that I see no domains, whereas before it showed all the domains I had submitted. Does this mean my submissions have been deleted? Although I do see 7 domains in the list of 250 which are mine. I can't find any way to see which of my domains are in the auction from my account (only by going thru the list). I'd have thought you would at least get a list of the domains that made it into the auction.

It seems the "Scores" are updated as all the domains that showed 0 before now have a score.

Anyone else have a name that shows confirmed in your submission list, but has never shown on the 200 or 250 list?

From the beginning of the initial auction list PhotographyGear.com has shown as confirmed in my submission list, but does not show on the preliminary 200/250 auction list. On the other hand, I have two on the auction 250 list, but are not marked in the auction notes as confirmed.

I now have the following:

PositivelyHot.com, status=confirmed, auction note=domain confirmed, on 250 list #64.
AquariumFishes.com, status=confirmed, auction note=pending review, on 250 list #28.
PhotographyGear.com, status=confirmed, auction note=domain confirmed, never on 200/250 list.
MyWeddingPhoto.com, status=confirmed, auction note=pending review, on 250 list #62.

Yes - I had a domain that was confirmed initially, but not on the top 200

Now the rest of my domains have scores (the 2nd batch) I'll see if any of them make the 450 list. Also, one of my domains was bumped from the initial 200 (BasicWebHosting.com) when they started adding domains.
