I don't think voting is a good idea. This can lead to way too many issues.

I've three domains sold on Afternic which are 'unconfirmed' at domaintools.

I wonder if this is just a coincidence,

I guess I will have to transfer them in any case.

I did...15 new ones and the score is still 0. My earlier domains with score 600-730 are still pending review. :(

Hahaha!

Well I KNOW several that I added should be high 600+, so I think there is an issue.

FullTimeMother.com Score 0 :'( I don't think so!

If MyWeddingPhoto.com (Not Mine) can score 597 and be listed #48 Plus has a $5K Reserve, I have a ton more that I just added that should be right up there. lol :yell:

How long is a little while back? Like 4 years ago? It's been continuously registered for the last 4 years.

Anyway, what is reselelr (reseller) pricing?

Still seems a bit strange how the names are chosen and placed...some nice names are lagging behind some that are suspect at best...even as subjective as opiinions are.

If domains are scored objectively, how can a 500-level name be placed higher than a 600-level one? What use is the numerical rating system when it's not practiced, including voting (OUD deja vu)?

On the other hand, if high-scoring submitted domains are not going to be used, I wish they'd just mark them as rejected and end the unknown factor. For example, I have five domains in the 800s, including one at 882, that are still being reviewed. I think the reason not yet selected is that they are not dot coms, but even so, would be nice to know if they stood a chance or were definitely out, like other non dot coms I had which were rejected by admin...won't even try to understand why 700-level dot coms aren't selected.

Even though I don't understand some things, it's pretty exiciting watching things unfold; I'm hoping NPers score big time!

Automated systems are flawed, so they are using humans to check and alter the results.

Humans are flawed too, so they're letting us vote in order to see which domains they over- or undervalued.

If this trial-and-error process works, then perhaps the automated and human valuation systems will both be better the next time they do this. :)

Remember though, Nothing has been finalized yet, So until the FINAL list is released, It really does not tell us much, I think once the list is finalized, It will be all in order and look as it should. The difference in sales from this auction is comparison to the last will be the hefty reserves,Imo, People who are more flexable and are willing to let the buyers determine the price, Will get payed, I see quite a few on there, That wont be getting payed, Imo

Mine still say unconfirmed, I hope one, If not both get in.

I don't think the score is the whole picture. MyWeddingPhoto.com is mine, and it's on the lower end score of the almost 100 domains I currently have submitted. I submitted some more recently that still have 0 scores as well. I don't think the score thing is working anyway, since there are now names on the top 200 list with 0 scores:

#2 0 GoodCar.com
#8 0 DublinIreland.com
#15 0 Amps.com
#22 0 SafetyFilm.com
#30 0 p4.com
#34 0 AirbrushSupplies.com

I see some names ( I won't name them) that I think are lousy for development, but they got good scores just for how long registered or shortness. I personally put more value in names that have huge development potential and a wide market of end users. I don't think any purely numerical score can truly gage the value of domains.

A lot of voters have voted no to my AquariumFishes.com, but it actually has one of the highest overture ratings on the list, and a much lower reserve than others with similar ratings. Some may not like the "es" plural version, but that is the more formal scientific/literary use used in most books and journals.

I would also hope that domaintools staff is looking for names in a variety of categories to broaden interest.

BTW, I think fulltimemother.com is a great name and should make the list since it has a lot of development potential. Good luck.
