Hi just sold a domain on NamePros. Buyer forwarded only email for his account info. I asked for full info, and he replied saying I could just fill in dots or blanks for all the contact info. Also this same buyer ended up wanting to pay with name bucks, even though the auction said Pay Pal only. He said he can't get a PayPal account in his country and can only use name bucks.

How would you proceed?

If you said Paypal only and he can't pay using Paypal, then the auction is void. You can reopen the auction, and leave negative TR for the "buyer".

namebucks actually may be a bit safer than PayPal for a seller - no chargebacks.

and I've done plenty of "email address only" fill-ins when pushing a domain at GoDaddy ... don't mind that at all - less work for me!

What was the amount of the sale? (I could use some $NP ... Can do PayPal balance up to $35 for $NP @ 0.02 right now, if that would help.)

Yes - buyer should be prepared to honor terms of the auction - you could declare it "void" etc ... but you could also just go ahead with the deal and make the sale you wanted to do anyway - no real risk to you in this one as far as I can tell (other than the minor hassle of turning $NP into PayPal).

Just curious though - trying to get a feel for what you're looking at here - does the buyer have decent TR?
