***I am not suggesting that anyone runs out to grab these type of names, this is purely my speculation***

I have been tracking this topic somewhat on my own and it appears the registration of "O" prefixed names are becoming more popular? I searched several dozen names this morning and most were taken that were not several months ago. Domain investors surely account for the bulk of the regs, but i like the way it looks.

Is it me, or does it seem inevitable that as generic .com's become increasingly hard to come by at an affordable price, "O" prefixed domains would would follow up the i and e trends and become increasingly valuable?

With that in mind, I purchased oSavings.com and oCapeCod.com. Not a big investment, but may provide a decent ROI in a few years, while hopefully paying for themselves in parking revenue at Fabulous.

All thoughts on this theory and potential value would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I really like the 'i' prefix a lot....and, to a lesser extent, the 'e' prefix...

I'm not sure I get the 'o' thing...?

This is the first time I have heard of the O prefix. As with Domaintalker - I prefer the i prefix.

What does the O stand for ?? Have you any examples of it being used in other sites ??

O can stand for "open" or "online".. A lot of "o" + keywords .com are taken.

i've seen the o prefix for online for a while, but lately for open, as sparked by the open source movement and google's reg of opensocial.mobi

I'd look elsewhere, but if regging "o" prefix names, I'd leverage the possibility of fat finger keyboard errors. Choose high search high bid keywords that start with adjacent letters "i" or "p". For example, opassports.com, opaycheck.com, opayroll.com are available.
