Hi,

pardon the newbie question but...first time i'm considering parking a domain.

Let's suppose i've a domain called xyz.com with name.com as registrar and i want to park it on Afternic.

For the parking, Afternic requires me to change the DNS for xyz.com to ns1.afternic.com and ns2.afternic.com.

I am wondering if doing so i'm going to loose every other record i've added on the DNS of name.com, like the MX records and so on.
Is this the case? There is a way i could park a domain keeping the records?

why do you need the records if you are parking the domain?

most ad feeds now require the use of ns, rather than redirect anyway.

You can keep your mx records (email address, etc), providing you host yourself, and park using CNAME records. Not all parking providers support this though.
