Domain Name: "Forum" vs "forums"

Hello,

I am planning to acquire a domain name where I would like to develop an active forum or community. I won't specify what niche it is.

I have just one question.

I am choosing from these two domains (keyword represents my main keyword):

keywordforum.com
keywordforums.com

Which one is better? The one with "forum" or the one with "forums" in the end?

Forum for sure...... "Forums" tends to indicate there is more than one forum and may be confusing for some.

If possible forum but if price is an issue you may be able to get forums.com cheaper. Also consider how each one is currently used. Are they parked? Is the lander a good page or crap. Does the domain resolve or simply go to a holder page? Remember that having just one means the other will probably gain some traffic off you. You want to minimize that.

I will try to get the "forum" one. Hope it will fit into my budget.

"forums" would be probably second last resort choice in case the "forum" was totally out of my budget for this.

Yeah board might be good to have, too.

But my priority is to get either forum or forums one first. It will be easier to do the SEO for the website because most of the people are searching for the keyword forum(s). It even gets some type-in traffic.
