Domain Name Charts - update

Chart Name has updated its 3 letter charts for November.

While our content is static our updates are monthly and contain the only charts for domains.

Currently we chart the 3 Letter TLDs of com net and org. You'll see how each TLD is performing as each month's numbers are reported.

Our charts, analysis and commentary are also included on each month at our website.

Only 1 suggestion -- check 3Character.com for the historical prices on LLL.com, as if I'm reading the graph correctly it's a fair bit off on 2005 (July 2005 minimum is reported at $1300 in example)

Thanks very much to everyone for their kind words. Now that I know the charts have an appreciative audience, I will work on getting newer and more diverse charts on the page.

I used to place com on its own graph (if you look at the older charts), but the problem was that the graphs looked messy and insincere.

Based on your comment I have added a marker for the bottom range and a disclaimer at the top.

Very nice site, domain futures/stock graphs.

I would like to see some comment added in regards to the US$ and it's impact on prices. I believe it is often overlooked in regards to these types of trends.

Maybe compare prices against US$ rises or falls against the euro, or the dollar index. Would make a neat side graph i think.

Thanks for your recent suggestions. Analysis of the Dow vs .Com has been added and the site updated with 3 new charts. You may not find the results incredibly surprising, but your friends sure will!

Show them how the Dow earned 3% for 3 years, then lost 50%, while domains earned 70% per year and lost only 37%.
