Domain Name Big Issue ... Need Help

Buy domain name.
Make payment.
Got confirmation from Visa payment given to Registrar account.
Got confirmation from My Bank payment debited to Registrar account.
Got confirmation mail by Registrar itself Thank You for purchasing domain with Exact Domain name - Qty - Term - Price

Shocking -

When second day I checked domain name in my list as I don't see it. So asked Registrar why I don't see my purchased domain name..?

Answer is ... The domain registration canceled by registry. We can't do anything now. You will get your registration amount.

Disaster -

The same domain which I purchased is available now for Sell by Registrar itself for very huge amount.

Though I sent detail mail including all proofs telling I want domain not my money to their support team but not get any reply yet.

The domain is N. Extension

Though I am still waiting for their reply before going to complaint with Hon'ble authorities.

I want to know what are Registrant (Domain Buyer) Rights according to ICANN in this case.

Your help will be highly appreciate especially attorneys on this forum.

sometimes mistakes happen by the registrars and domains get registered for a much lower amount than the one intended by the registry for premium domains... that's when that happens

I assume you got the N . extension for a very low amount and now the registrar has corrected that by offering it at the correct price for *registration* (that's registration and not sale as you mentioned, correct me if I'm wrong)

I'm just offering a different view on the issue. If I'm wrong somewhere, my apologies

In the first 30 days a registration can be taken back for any reason.

You agree that GoDaddy, in its sole discretion and without liability to you, may refuse to accept the registration of any domain name. GoDaddy also may in its sole discretion and without liability to you delete the registration of any domain name during the first thirty (30) days after registration has taken place. Do you mean Registrar can cancel domain registration without any reason in 30 days of purchase if they see they can sell this domain for huge profit.

When I buy domain the price was $30 as compared to other domain extension that was high according to me. I debated with their chat representatives almost one hour to give me some discount on same domains.They try but not able to give me so I buy two domains around $60.They change domain cost after my purchase when amount is already debited to their account and they also give me confirmation that these domains are yours now. Only my domains cost changed all other domains with same extension still to sell at $30 per domain. When I asked they give the reason that Main Registry (not they) cancel it but now they selling same domain at huge price on their site.

anyways ... I didn't tell Registrar name in my question and you are surely talking about Godaddy...How..?

Any reason in 30 days, every registrar has that in their TOS. Most domainers don't know or read that kind of stuff.

This is the thing I try to tell people every week now it seems. If the new gtld registries screw up, meaning they wanted a domain to be a premium domain with $1,000 fee, if there is an error and the domain is priced at $30, they cancel the registration with the registrar, the registrar is protected because of their TOS.

Its not a big issue. Its a common issue.

Price corrections will be happened all the time.

You couldnt do anything abt it. Just forget and check whether you got your refund.

Move on to another domain.
