Hey all! I'm working with a guy who's building a product that's all about monetising domains you don’t use and are renewing every year (face palm). Right now we're trying to learn all we can about people's problems and the best solutions currently out there.

Has anyone here ever tried to monetize their unused domains in some way - and if so, how did it go? Has anyone got a backlog of domains they do nothing with, and what pains / confusion do you feel about this? Have you tried to monetise them, and why / why not?

Right now the content engine and hosting are working on his site (it’s called Stakeweb) but the monetisation features are still in dev, expected to be ready come mid July.

Here is my clients current website (not fully launched yet as this is mvp 0.5 haha) is here - https://stakeweb.com/

And here is a live example of someone who has registered a domain on Stakeweb - https://getricheventually.com/

It’s due to launch officially in July with monetisation features. We’re collecting feedback and marketing it, so it has the right offerings and lands with a bang on launch. Any feedback is much appreciated!

Yes, I've just signed up to their unlimited plan after getting screwed from Bodis, PC, Daddy/Nic/Dan and others.

Parking pages from Daddy look like one of the pixelated 80's vide game graphics. So outdated & cringe.

I am going to use it for my high search volume domains. You can check out woodmanship.com which is currently live on the platform with a decent ai blog and youtube video.

And please compare with daddy/nic's parking lander on my other domain herbwife.com and tell me what you think.
