Domain has wrong information on Alexa?

I recently registered a domain name When I try to submit the information to Alexa, I found out that Alexa is displaying the information of from another site. Why is that? I've sent emails to Alexa asking for correction, but nothing's changed for months... Does anyone know what's going wrong and how can I make the correction? I am afraid that Google will never index my site because of this. Thanks!

Yeah. That's how they do business.

They're not interested in accuracy, not unless you place one of their widgets on your site.

That's why you should take Alexa info with a grain of salt.

This means your domain must have been registered before. When one site has a HTTP 301 redirect to another, or other similar situations, Alexa groups them together.

I'm not sure how you would get it changed, but I wouldn't worry about it. It has zero influence on how Google indexes your site.

Showing another domain at alexa.com means that domain you've got got FAKE alexa rank and pissibly also fake PAGERANK due to 301 redirect.

That's it, Alexa is fair in this and shows true domain to which that RANK belongs.
