The domain name hack Cor.al sold for $10,000 at Sedo.

According to Namebio, this is the highest .al domain name sale along with Mur.al. However, in 2011, Domain Name Wire reported that Soci.al sold for $50,000 to a MarkMonitor client.

Interesting. Soci.al selling for 50k is massive.

TV.AL was sold for a sum in the range of XX,000€ (I assume close to 10K€).
News was made public in a Facebook thread where the seller congratulated Gjirafa .com , a well funded startup from Kosovo (Kosovo Albanian is the official language in Kosovo). Exact price was not given, but the range was mentioned.

these are nice sales for sure.. though they are rare.. at the rate of maybe 1 per year or so.. .

so all in all they are still few and far between

however, overall the .al extension is not a strong seller by any means.

I own a couple of decent LL.al non hacks.. and didn't see much action or offers or sales at all.

still.. I wouldn't mind owning a few of those hacks in .al

soci.al is extra nice..

of course, all the good hacks are long gone and registered etc.
