Domain Dreaming

Hi guys,

Forgive me in advance for sounding nerdy but does anyone else have dreams about owning / buying or selling Domains? Over the last month or so I've been having dreams about buying great domains, last night I even had a dream about a name and when I woke up this morning I checked to see if it was available and it was , the weird thing is that I would have never thought about that name.

Anyone else weird like me?

And yes.. yes I have. I have dreamt about owning names I know I could never have unless I win the lottery. Lol :P

Yes, I had such dreams too but stopped new regs for month.
Now these dreams are gone.

I have had the occasional domain-related dream over the years but don't remember any details since they did not include anything to do with naked sweaty skin.
However I have a good friend in town, one of the famous domain pioneers but I've known him for years before he got into domains... and I do DAYdream about owning HIS domains, occasionally.

Yeah, i lived in South Africa for 15 years. It is such a beautiful country and it saddens me that people cannot live in harmony there without threat of violence.

My F partner here in Australia is a Sri Lankan lady, dark brown, not really black. so i guess we have partially joined hands!!

LoL! Not even close...no closer than Hispanic who are also brown. Biggie was speaking in terms of blacks as in African Americans. I dream of getting one domain name that will sell for 1.5 million dollars. One that everyone else had somehow looked over.:bingo: I do believe it can happen.:talk: And when it does, I promise I will come and let yall know about without giving certain details.

Whoa! ew! Let's change lanes. I was looking at your sig. I clicked on one of the links. Are you real big into .TV names or is this an affiliate link of some kind. That's a lot of .TV Somebody's dreaming big on that site...some good names there.

I have never ever dreamt about domains.

I wonder what the dream would be about? Typing on your laptop/thinking about auctions? :lol:

If domaining was an active sport, I would probably have dreamt about it.

I will just quickly echo Dave's first comment. Domaining can become really addictive and without any game plan, research, hard work and a little luck you will waste a lot of time and money.

Dreaming about high end domains and how you would develop potential domains is a beautiful thing though. I'm with you on that one.
