I have a new client who seems to be in a bind with his old web designer/web host who had access to his domain name management and decided to put in his email address as the Admin/Techical contact for one domain while my clients Company name and Personal name are listed as the Registrant/Admin/Tech contact.
His old web host told him if he wants control of his domains they will release them if he pays them $100's extra.
We already tried going through Enom as they are the registrar (faxed over company ownership/photo id and etc..) to change the admin email address but the domains are through resellers (Tiger direct domains and DnBuy.com) Enom basically said they don't want anything to do with this and said to deal with the resellers. Well Tiger direct domains hasn't replied to my partners emails/faxes (Aprox two weeks ago) and DnBuy also hasn't replied to my ticket yet which was submitted 21 May 2008 12:59 PM.
I do believe one of the Enom resellers (Tiger direct domains) did contact the old web host because he told my client they did. After that the old web host did change the DNS servers to point to my server but a day later he changed everything back to Netfirms dns servers and told my client he wanted more money.
So what are our options to regain control of the domains? I've posted example WHOIS data for each domain.
Example Company Inc and John Doe is my clients info
[email protected] is the email address owned by the previous we designer/web host
J***** T**** is the name of the previous we designer/web host
For domain one this what the WHOIS looks like this.

Administrative Contact:

+1.1234567
Fax:
