does anyone know of or can recommend a good tool to run lists of available domains?

i'm looking for the kind of tool that will specifically allow me to generate lists based on criteria such as length of the domain and what letters it could contain in what positions

for example, i want to generate a list of all possible combinations of LLLL starting with DN, things like that

thanks

Hi CDM,

I normally use Godaddy.com bulk check tool - sure it only does 500 names at a time (remember that is total so it cannot check 250 names under .com/.net/.info all at the same time but it can check 250 domains under any two of the .com/.net/info at the same time). On the GoDaddy homepage hover over the 'Domains' button and a drop down menu will appear, go down to 'Bulk Orders' and click, and hey presto you can check away.

To produce such a list of domains in the first place create an Excel sheet (and remember to save the sheet for the future as undoubtedly you will want to do the same search in another 1/3/6/12 months time - nothing more infuriating than having to repeat work needlessly you know you have done before but forgot to save).

Hope this helps.
