I got this email from Namedrive today... kind of perplexed!!

Hello,

This is an automated mail to inform you that our advertising partner, Google, will no longer return advertising to the following domain(s):

kidsmutualfund.com

The reasons for this are usually:
- Adsense abuse on the domain by a previous owner
- A complaint by a trademark owner
- Google find the name offensive (adult, drugs etc) and no longer wish to monetize the domain

As Google are our advertising partner, we can unfortunately no longer return advertising to the domain in question.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

If you have any further questions, please contact us at [email protected].

Your ND team

Both KidsMutual.com & KidsMutualFund.com got banned from Google.com. any idea why ?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

I've been reading a lot about these across several forums. I got one but in March. No idea the reason... but it was only one domain, so it didn't really hurt me much.

I got one as well. Just Google making demands and they (namedrive) showing they care. :)

Hello,

Due to a misunderstanding with our advertising partner, some of your domains were incorrectly marked as blocked on our system. We're happy to say that, for the domains below, we have managed to resolve the situation and the domains are now live again on the NameDrive system. We will work on moving them out of your Blocked Folder over the next 24 hours to ensure that everything is returned back to normal.

If you have any domains which were marked as blocked this week but are not listed below as resolved, we are still working to resolve the issues on these domains. If we can get the domains unblocked, then we will inform you by mail.
Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at [email protected]

We apologise for this inconvenience and hope you have a great holiday period.

Best regards,

Your NameDrive team

The domains which are now no longer blocked are:

Awww so sad, I already moved the domains. I guess it's just a good way to lose business. lol

Sorry to drum up an old thread, but I'd like to know is there an official list of what topics/kewords google/namdrive won't monetize. I just spent a boatload of cash on a high traffic premium adult name and now namedrive won't touch it. I can monetize the name elsewhere so its not really a setback, but I'd like to know how to tell before I buy.

i think it's more of the kind of traffic going to the domain, other then a certain keyword. Like if the traffic is coming from spam type links, bots etc.

I got one of those too, a couple months ago. I contacted NameDrive and they removed it.

Hi guys,

The original confusion was cleared up in mid December when this post first appeared.

On blaknite's question from yesterday. There is no official list from our side. I found an interesting link this morning where you can check your domain's status in Google
http://www.selfseo.com/google_ban_tool.php
The problem is that it doesn't really give any further information as to why or when it was banned.

In general, the terms we see which are no longer supported by our ad provider have past spam problems or current TM problems. ND will block names ourselves if domains have very high traffic and no conversion at all as these domains are not making anyone money and are likely costing you money on renewals which are not being paid for by the domain in monetisation.

I hope this clears up the issue. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Ed

This script just do site: search in google, and check results, :imho:
You can do it yourself by typing "site:xxxx.com" in google. About OP example, "site:KidsMutual dot com" query doesnt give any results, as its not listed (banned).
