Domain availability check

i need a domain availability check for my site.
specially for .co. i prefere godadd api. but we have to be a reseller.
do know any such free script for this?

Just look up a PHP whois scan/check

It's fairly easy to run a WHOIS check via PHP, and clearly if the domain isn't available then the WHOIS will return an error ("No result found" or whatever)

Nope; if the domain doesn't exist, it'll say it doesn't exist.

Privacy protection can't exist on a domain that doesn't exist
