I am considering selling my site: www.AppraiseMy.name- I simply don't have the time to invest in it. It is only 1 1/2 months old- I have spent countless hours on end putting it together. Because it is new and I have yet to market it, there are not many names/members as of yet. Rest assured, if you put the time in there will be results. I haven't found any site solely dedicated to appraising domain names yet, which is a major issue for domainers.
How it works
User's have the ability to post either a DOMAIN NAME or DEVELOPED WEBSITE.
-members create a username and password, and provide information about traffic stats/visitors, registration date, extension, category (ability to choose from hundreds and create an unlimited number), and a description
-Visitors, both members and non members, then have the ability to rate the name/website using an 11-star system. The choices are as follows:
Mid $XXX,XXX- High $XXX,XXX (11 Stars)
Low $XXX,XXX- Mid $XXX,XXX (10 Stars)
Mid $XX,XXX- High $XX,XXX (9 Stars)
Low $XX,XXX- Mid $XX,XXX (8 Stars)
Mid $X,XXX- High $X,XXX (7 Stars)
Low $X,XXX- Mid $X,XXX (6 Stars)
Mid $XXX- High $XXX (5 Stars)
Low $XXX- Mid $XXX (4 Stars)
Mid $XX- High $XX (3 Stars)
Low $XX- Mid $XX (2 Stars)
$0 - Registration Fee (1 Star)
The rating system then automatically averages the sum total of the votes.
-Users can login to their accounts and manage all of their listings from one place
-I am using a script that I purchased- and overhauled and completely edited to make the site. The backend is extremely customizable and the admin panel is too easy to use.
-The current template I edited myself for a cool orange/black theme- custom logo is included- but all this can be edited/changed to your liking with minimal knowledge of HTML. Also, the script owners are constantly rolling out new templates.
-Full Support (from the creators of the basic script I used to create the site)
-Domain name included
-Site has search capability: visitors can search for names/sites through "extension", "name", or "category"
-Ability to create unlimited static pages
