Augmented reality (or augmented reality, AR) is a live direct or indirect observation of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are amplified (or supplemented) by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data. It is related to a concept called mediated reality (mediated reality), where a picture of reality is changed (perhaps even reduce, rather than strengthened) by a computer.
