discuss Does SnapeNames keep domains for themselves?

I've backordered probably 7 domains from them this week and only 1 of them made it to my account.

They said acquiring then changed to backorder.

What is going on over there?

I received notification about a week to ten days ago that a .COM domain was becoming available (equivalent of one of my .Nets). I placed a backorder but only at Namejet as I have not used Snapnames in years (after the HAlvarez bidding scandal). It appears HugeDomains picked up that 15-year old domain and they now have close to two million domains. While they have a lot of not so great domains, it is worth noting their inventory is probably 95% .COM.

If I'm not mistaken Snapnames always display "acquiring" when actively trying to catch a domain, which reverts back to "backorder" if they fail to catch it.
