Hey guys, I am a newbie in this field ,and I have an important question, I always search for domains manually on GD, hoping to find great and cheap domains that have not been registered before for example one word or 2 words,service,product...dot com. This is what I do since I started in this field, one day I researched all the possibilities of CVCV domains in excel (14400 possibilities )The cheapest one for $609, So guys the question is: Is it possible to find these kinds of domains that were previously not registered , or am I just wasting my time?

I have one final note, I was looking in Godaddy and i found a 17-year-old domain ( available ) It was active before , but it wasn't on the expired domains list. Can you explain the matter to me?

Hope you can understand what I wrote, English is not my mother tongue, and thank you in advance, you help us a lot as beginners and without your help we would never develop.

I will let others chime in and answer some of your other questions but I would suggest you go here https://lookup.icann.org/lookup to look up names. It will avoid any 'front running' that could be happening (use the search function to learn about 'front running' if you are not familiar with the term yet).

Welcome to nps...there is an introduction thread you might like to visit to introduce yourself.
