Does developing a basic Website increase a domains value?

Guys,
I started a small webpage Jyro Online Movie Store and was wondering how much it would be worth now its a site? does it look any good? and do you think i should keep it to see if it generates income from the affiliatewindows links? Also, what else could be done here to make the most of it?

How do you plan on bringing traffic in?? PPC?? I would put some relevant keywords and content.

Real content *always* helps. For example, a few weeks back there was a .com on page 1, position 1 of google for the relevant keywords, but it was all unrelated, or minimally related, commercial content. So I decided to rain on their parade. I bought the .org, and spent a few weeks putting real informative content on the site (that means real work). Google loves real content. Now *my* site is on page 1, position 1 of the big G.

Ask yourself "would I go to this site"? If not then do something about it. Perhaps reviews, or links to reviews. Maybe a forum.... anything with dynamic content is good as long as it is relevant.

A unique and original content may increase its value. Also using originally coded has more value than turnkey sites.

The main index is your web site (domain) traffic and that doesn't really matter if there any web site installed or not.

Adding relevant content, link building and optimizing keywords for the SE's will only increase value, IMO.
