Does anyone know who Domainamania.com LLC is?

I was monitoring a name on DomainTools.com

Then I received an email from them that the name had dropped and went to go see and it was these guys? I can't even imagine that they wanted this name because first of all it is a .net and it was personal for me. It was a long domain that couldnt have meant anything to anyone else but me?

Any ideas about this? Thanks.

I think it's one of the registrars used by Snapnames.
The name is probably being tasted.
2 possibilities:

1. go to snapnames.com and check if the name is in the live auctions so you could bid on it and get it for $$
2. wait for a few days and it should drop

A similar thing happened to me. I had a website for my LLC, and when I stopped doing business online, I let it expire. The day it expired it was taken by a company in China (tasters I'm sure). The DAY AFTER expiration (a bit of a coinky-dink) I decided I needed it back for my new domaining business. The company dropped it, and it was taken back up by DomainDoorman who tasted it as well (almost no traffic to it-like yours, it was a personal thing to me and not traffic-related). Well, when they discovered no traffic to it (I was very careful about not visiting the site to see what they were doing with it, if anything) they dropped it again. After another whois check, I found that it was available and regged it again for a total of $7.15 at GoDaddy. I was so delighted because I was in fact getting ready to offer DomainDoorman at least $50 to get it back.

That sounds like a good game plan. Thanks.
