I have been aquiring domain names that are one word typos. Does anyone invest in these? Are they worth it?

I have seen lots of domain names and I believe that this technique is quite popular among domainers.

It depends whether or not they are good enough to get traffic. If no traffic a waste of time/money.

Common typo's of generic products/services/Geo are well worth it. These are highly likely to get some traffic as well they will convert!

I have Bazra.com which does pretty good from time to time. Basra is the proper, but some confuse the S and Z at times. B-)

play safe and use a registrar like dynadot, use their refund-friendly service ;)

what sort of traffic would you get on a name like bazra jamie, just out of interest? (cool too if you want to keep it under your hat!)

I would think all the best one word ones have been tasted a long long time ago, its only worth it if you can find ones that earns more than reg fee every year, if it does'nt do that then you've wasted your money.

...there's still good names out there for reg fee IMO

I have never acquired any typos nor regged any. That's because I don't rely on parking revenues.

I only buy and sell domains and some I will develop.

Thats the way to go Xman!

After sleeping on it, I have been thinking on whether these would be domains to aquire then promote them as much as I could. Its a gamble, but I will keep a watchout on them. My other voice of somewhat reason is why haven't they been caught yet?

Is there any way to see the history of a domain name?
