Does anybody know how to Value PR Domains?

Hi guys

I am wondering if there is a rough estimate on what I should be selling domain with PR for?

For example: PR2 - $50
PR3 - $100

And so on and so forth.

Does anybody have any ideas?

i'd say:

pr2 - $10
pr3 - $20

you usually won't see anyone selling domains based on pr alone after it goes about pr3, but you never know.

A domain with pagerank has backlinks because it once was an existing site. Those links don't just disappear because the site was dropped. While not a typical case, I have a PR domain which once was a developed site and yet the phrase is not even highly searched. It receives some 200 visitors a day with about 20% clicking on the ads. I wouldn't consider selling it for less than $2500 and wouldn't even jump at that offer.

- back link quality
- If the domain listed in "great site"? like Yahoo directory?


For me, if the domain is not very nice (word, extensions..). I will purchase domain that have good traffic from itself "not redirect from the other" and "not banned by Google". I do not care so much about pagerank :hehe:

How do you check the backlink quality on a domain/site - ie is there a way to see exactly what those backlinks are, before you own the domain?

And, how do you check if the domain has run into probs with Google in the past?
