Do you use Freshdrop or DropDay?

Hey everyone,

I'm building a Dropday alternative and was looking for some feedback on what you find good/bad about Dropday and Freshdrop if you use either of the services.

Is there any data that you always use e.g. search volume/PageRank or is there any data that you wish they offered?

Or of course anything else that these services could do better at?

Absolutely, I'm looking at a data source for exact match search volume right now, bit expensive but worth it, can only get US monthly exact match volume though, would that still be an improvement on Freshdrop/DropDay?

as u know pagerank prices changed last year..because of fake pr7+ domains
sold by indonesians in digital point forum..pagerank domains market go down.

That would be great if you could provide Google Exact Match.

I use DropDay. My biggest complaint is that it is unreliable. It will be useless for days at a time. Other times, it only provides some of the data for some of the domains. And, zero customer service. It is cheap, though. I'd pay more for a better, more reliable service. Keep us posted.

Great feedback, thanks, I'm utilising auto scaling servers that should be totally reliable in terms of handling traffic, as for gathering data it remains to be seen how my software and my providers will perform in terms of reliability but I will be testing and improving this before launch.

What data do you found most useful with DropDay?

If I was to say just go with search volume, CPC, competition, PageRank and Length would that be worth the same amount to you as Dropday if the service was more reliable or do you use other data provided by DropDay/would you like any other data provided through my service?

You avoid dropped names because you find them hard to sell? Do you think it's just due to the history of the domain name itself or the names you tried selling just couldn't move?

Freshdrop basically has everything I'm looking for, except the exact match. With that, I have a list of possibilities and put them into Google myself to get those numbers. Freshdrop has GS which is Number of Google searches for keyword-phrase, it's not exact match but it's kind of in the realm I guess. Not sure how they get those numbers exactly.

Domain Age is another important one that I would like to see included. DropDay has it, but they do not provide it on many of the domains listed.

Its hard to find any providers of Google Exact match global search volume, would Google exact match US monthly search volume be of more use than what Freshdrop provides?

I think it would be a step up, at least in that one aspect. They provide everything else I could want.
