Yes, Pub is short for Public House.

I really only go if I'm going to meet up with friends. I don't go just for the hell of it. I need a reason to go.

Mostly for someone's Birthday or some other event.

Since I am in a college town I go about once every few weeks. However, when the school year starts I might go every week. I just turned 21 at the beginning of summer.

When I was in my early 20's I used to go out to bars a few times a month. Now I just go when my friends drag me... kicking and screaming

Yeh clubs are cracking down on it though, the government has been sending underage people into clubs and pubs here (Manchester) and if they get served or let in the club gets a hefty fine.

Many clubs ID pretty much everyone now due to this.

I used to work in pubs for quite a few years as the software company I worked for mainly dealt in Hotel software. However I don't personally go there. I rarely drink and if I do it's when I'm with friends/family.
