hello all,

just wondering how many of you sell your sites on ebay,

these could be turnkey from DCB and the likes.

i have seen quite a few not so good looking sites with no revenue no traffic, sell for $400- 500 and more.

how long does it actually take for u to build a website from scratch,as these people on ebay must be making an awfull lot of $$$.

thanks for looking.

I have done in the past, with a good description I have at least doubled my money (I usually buy cheap sites, change them and keep them for a bit)

what does "turnkey" mean?

I bet you could sell websites on ebay, there is a section for them! :)

Turn key means the site is all the way ready to go...you just need to upload it to the server and then try to drive traffic.

The most amazing one I've ever seen was SpearFishing.com...Domain and Website sold on eBay for about $18,000 a few months ago. Wasn't really even that great of a site. D-:

well you get a lot of buyers on eBay who do not know the industry and are so accustomed to the rubbish sites for sale on their, that if you sell anything half decent it will sell for a lot.

yes

I actually bought one off ebay, with domain switching it cost me a total of $22, and it's a turnkey and 100% automated site. I also have free gold hosting as I work for a dot.com webhosting company :).

Here is the site, advertisers pay me to advertise, we pay members 50% for them clicking the advertisers link, and it's totally automated, so no work apart from advertising, and manually activating advertiser accounts.

HI

I have been thinking of making some niche sites and selling them on ebay also seeing a lot of basic websites sell for $low to $mid xxx but just have not had the time to develop them....

So right now I just sell memberships to my website and also some of my scripts and programs I own.

Thanks
