discuss DNF.com no longer forwarding to DNF

Just noticed that DNF.com is no longer forwarding to DNF The name now forwards to a sedo parked page. Checking on sedo it is not listed for sale but you can contact them to acquire the name...

Also just noticed you can no longer type the forum name in namepros without it changing to dnf

well dnf.com was never developed it was always just pointing to the forum as far as i know, i frequently type that into my browser to get to the forum instead of the longer version. dnf.com is a really great name and with the current Chinese investment in these types of names i wouldnt be surprised if Adam sells it, i would probably do the same.

so just an update. DNF.com was in fact sold. This name was owned by adam dicker and had always forwarded to DNF. Surprise surprise, the new owner is Chinese.

Interestingly enough I noticed the DNS change right around the time that Adam was called out here on NP.

On another note. I'm curious how AD's "reputation Repair" service will handle repairing his own reputation.

I think you will soon see DNF sold. Without any credibility in the industry I don't think anyone would pay to be part of a the forum. Personally I would like my membership refunded.

Repairing his reputation is not that hard. Assuming people are not interested in ruining him and just want what they paid for or their money back. Selling 2 names max should put him in a position to settle any valid claim IMHO. Paying those that are qualified to be paid and apologizing should be enough.

Surprise is right. The Chinese are starting to take over the domain market. It won't be long and they'll be driving us into electronic wastelands, in much the way that American and European Imperialism displaced various indigenous peoples.
