Hello, what do you guys think of DN ending in z instead of s. For example, carz.com instead of cars.com

I think for a informal domain name its ok, annoying to portray to someone you give your domain to verbally because you need to tell them it ends in a Z. For anything formal idd say no.

I agree, misspelling any word for any reason is annoying enough but for edgy domains that are coining new terms it is borderline acceptable, such as lolcatz.

If you do that with words that denote professionalism you will just make yourself look like an idiot as in the case of doctorz or lawyerz.

also agreed.. its ok to get your domain with Z if its not available with S.. and normally domains share/advertise on internet. in that case you don't need to tell that its end with Z.. so its just fine. but as Sparhawke said. don't choose domain with Z for professionalism. ^^

have only two names like that in collection,
prefer Z letter only for short wellknown words, like:

biz
carz
stokz
gamez
buyz
sellz

What about longer dn?

Gamez.com sold for $77k

Carz.com / Gamez.com have value as they are highly brandable, but in general unless it is a top tier single word generic they are probably best to avoid.

This work with very generic words, however the successful sites I have seen using "z" instead of "s" were all developed sites.
