I wanted some input on this one. I previously posted this domain but only got 1 reply that valued it as a random 3 character .io. (not sure they knew about the meanings)
I've done my research on it and I think I picked up a diamond in the rough. I apologize for the long post. DLP stands for several things; most notably Data Loss Prevention and Digital Light Processing (think DLP tv). In my opinion the true value is In Data Loss Prevention (also goes by Data Leak Prevention sometimes).
Data loss prevention software detects potential data breaches/data ex-filtration transmissions and prevents them by monitoring, detecting and blocking sensitive data while in-use, in-motion, and at-rest.

"DLP Market to be Worth 2.64 Billion by 2020"
https://www.statista.com/statistics...oss-prevention-market-leading-vendor-revenue/
“In 2019, the revenue of data loss prevention vendors is predicted to reach 1.7 billion U.S. dollars”
-This link shows that 2019 revenue should hit more than double that of 2015.
-2016 Revenue was 961 million.
There are a bunch of players in this industry, including some heavy hitters like McAfee, Symantec, CA Technologies and so on. Most of these DLP products/services include “DLP” right in their name.

Seems like there are also quite a few startups trying to enter the market. Furthermore, a quick Android and App store search found a bunch of apps with DLP in their name.
DLP.com is taken by Texas Instruments. In their case, the DLP is the projector type (they were the inventors of it).
So, what do you think?
