A friend has asked me to help him create a directory of DJ's in his local area..i.e it lists dj's in different towns in his area, whether it be a text ad or a graphical add, he doesn't want it so they can submit ads as he will be adding them himself.....was thinking of maybe joomla and the mosets component....anyone any ideas

also taking ideas for names of ther site, hopefully with dj in it..500NP$ if we decide on one of the names..

Have a look at PHP Classifieds, you may be able to mod it a wee bit.

There was something really cool a friend of mine is working on.

It is in hard core development, but the overall thought is cool. You could have something like that w a drop down box of the local cities. It could then list the djs and you could even have users give reviews and it could give them x/5 stars...then sort them from worst to best.

Just a thought.

It uses PHP and MySQL databases.
