Idea for all .Fun registrants

Since these domains are going for high renewals. If you grab some good ones

Why not contact registry and have THEM kick off your sedo "$100 offer push to auction" since THEY stand to benefit from having such domains at auction and being sold?

And once they buy them back they can do to these domains what they did to all the domains they reserved for themselves?

Worse case scenario? You get your .Fun domains to auction on sedo for free.

It's a win win for the registry and you.

You get to flip at auction they get exposure for their .fun.

If they win they stand to benefit if they lose to a higher bidder they still stand to benefit as it will show the world their .Fun's value.

It's all about getting .Fun domains into free sedo auction.

I think this can work for pretty much any gtld's?

What do you think?

Like that Emirates.fun that for sure should have been reserved with A $12k renewal. But it wasn't .

Would the registry benefit by placing a secret bid of $100 @Sedo? I bet they won't go higher?

But at least gets your .Fun to market.
Unfortunately, I don't think Sedo is accepting .fun yet. Although, I haven't tried today.

VRS*x.fun
S*xVR.fun

Who thinks VR+keywords and reverse would be perfect for .Fun? :xf.wink:

I leave it up to you all. I'm officially done with .Fun. lol

I saw this thread and thought I would try and reg some just to see if they were available- good job by everybody to pick most of them up. It kinda appears that the registry used a dictionary, then curated it abit and registered every one word possibility, that were sellable. Then you guys grabbed a bunch of good ones- which is great. There are some 3 letters abbreviations that make sense though I noticed. I am tempted to buy a couple just because, I tried a few proper names and some were already priced high, but noticed other names that were only $6.88, so there are some proper names still available.
I'm mad at myself because I missed a 3L that I wanted that was available the whole first day.

I remember when .XYZ , .CLUB and .TOP were released and everybody thought it was ridiculous, but now people are loving it and making money selling domains with those extensions.
Who exactly???
I have or had a hundreds of those without any sales... just few $xx offers for ~2.5 years...

Lol NEWS.

After checking out .Fun I'm discovering most keyword and combo keywords are being snatched up.

Odd how some say only reg words that "work" for .Fun

Yet people are registering what people are saying you shouldn't like:

CarInsurance.fun
Autoinsurance.fun
Insurance.fun( radix)
Fund.fun
FreeCreditReport.fun

Avatar629, you motivated me so I got the following:

Realty.fun

Nice one! RealEstate.fun was taking by radix. So was property.fun

Radix secured Finance.fun and slapped a $6,500/ renewal on it

But there is a recorded historical sale of Finances.com for $500k

So.....Finances.fun
(We make handling your finances FUN)

Also. Radix definitely tracking regs of .Fun because soon as I reg Shore.fun .....Shores.fun was snatched up by radix and they put a $3500 pricetag and renewal on it. True story

They definitely went too far premium-izing domain names. Too many are a premium.

Now, I have no clue what to do with mine. I was only thinking of getting 1 or 2. I kind of want to develop them.

What if I registered FunToThePowerOfInfinity.fun. Wouldn't that be more .fun?
People need 'evidences'.
Especially in a .fun domain, only the number of 'fun' you can count / prove is 'valid', when it comes to the question which .fun domain is the highest .fun domain.

I registered the highest .fun domain!!!

funfunfunfunfunfunfunfunfunfunfunfunfunfunfunfunfunfunfunfunfun.fun
- highest number of 'fun' a domain name can consist of
- 63 characters, highest number of characters a domain name can consist of
- ends with the TLD
.fun at the same time

No .fun domain contains more 'fun' - a serious fact.
That's why it's price is veryyy
highhh

So you now have the most fun lol

But which is the most expensive domain in the world now?

This fun domain or your most expensive dot top domain?

Yes, I nowww have the most fun with .fun under the sun.
But to be clear, not one domain can top the
toptoptop... ...top.top in it's status and it's price, it's the highest domain with the highest price.

Nevertheless, the
funfunfun... ...fun.fun domain has the highest fun / .fun status, so it's probably the most expensive .fun domain.

fools.fun seems a better option - singular is a premium - so if there are any fools out there - this is your chance

LGBT.FUN ($6K BUY AND $6K RENEWAL)
LGBTQ.FUN? ($8)

LGBTQ IN KING? ( SOLD $37k) I'll take $10k right now:xf.wink:

it is me:)...I also got emirates.fun, but uae.fun is in auction now:)
Out of curiosity, can you let us know what it ends at? (Or PM me)

Just another example of a greedy registry trying to make a fortune off of a mediocre extension. Nothing for me, plenty of other extensions to choose from with much better pricing.

I absolutely agree with you - very greedy.
That said you can still reg. greedy /dot/ fun with no premium! :) that's real sarcasm...hehe

Have Fun.
(Its not my domain)
'Have Fun.' is anyway not a domain, it's a sentence (a wish) :xf.cool:
That's why I cliked 'Thank'.
So, thanks again, have fun too!

hey hey. did someone actually just register F**K.fun right now today? Impossible! am I dreaming? THAT keyword was not reserved by the registry?

or was it bought by someone from Registry? usually if it's taken by registry it has the usual huge reg price plus renewal blatantly shown.

anyone with any ideas? probably got sold to the major sites?

lol what's the renewal on that one? $1,000,000?

not yet ) but once you register, you'll find out that it was a protected name ))

Here is the tip though ) If you need "fun" in your name, just reg the island cctld .is for affirmative and norwegian cctld .no for negative )

Examples:
Money.is/fun
WastingMoneyis.no/fun ))

you can also go for .my )

Whereis.my/fun ))

And .me:

Give.me/fun )

I did see FreeCreditReport.fun was taken

And in .co.uk that sold for $300k

Granted that was way back in 2008.

Can getting your free credit report by a bit of .Fun?

Thing about our generation these days is Everyone loves having FUN.

It sickens me but gotta give the people what they want.

Enema.fun (lol not mine! Registry owned! $3,500 renewal)
