Companies always make plenty of defensive regs across many TLDs, doesn't mean they have a genuine interest.

Obviously that goes without saying tell me something I don't know.

The point of mentioning these was NOT that these companies did secure these. But brings up the question how many haven't ?

Especially those with generic brands names.

Most of these regs were not really necessary as most of these brands are so unique onto themselves there is no grey area.

There are many company names that are so generic that it can be used for businesses.

if you are lucky to grab a good Geo.fun ($3,500/yr) contact the tourism board of that Geo and ask them if they wanna brand under .fun in fact tell them you'll develop for them on their dime.
