All rejected, what do you think?
kicksky.com
ranksky.com
waynavi.com
flasholo.com
I think kicksky can good for extreme sports, ranksky for seo or advertising company. Also waynavi (way + navigation) could be good for a tech startup about location /gps service.
I am a newbie so it will be great if you direct me.
By the way, I see this thread now, and posted this before somewhere wrong, sorry.
Okay, so I finally got the money for one of my BB rejects from GD (right at the 5-day mark)
One of the domains was A/D/S/K/I/P/P/E/R dot com
History:
I think I bought this right after AdBeam sold at BB. I was really interested in acquiring some Ad domains.
Anyway I saw this one on Ray's list on TLD Investors and decided to get it because
1. I actually thought about a 'skipper' as a captain. That's kinda crazy, I know, but that's what I thought when I first saw the name. It's only later, I was like.......ahhhhh an ad skipper - a thing that skips ads....right...lol
2. Anyway, the main reason I got the domain was because there was an end-user using the dot-in, so I figured I could reach out to the end-user and try to make the sale without paying 30% commission.
Anyway, the name was rejected by BB, and although the end-user checked the email I sent, I got no response from them.
I bought the name on GD for $20 total and it sold on GD premium for $998. (GD took their 20% commission).
Hope that helps someone.
Anyway, it'll probably take a little longer for me to receive the funds from my second BB reject that sold the same day. The domain was still under the 60 day lock at MyDomain, but sold at BIN in GD auctions. The last time this happened, I had to wait until the 60 day lock was up before the transaction was finalized. Does anyone have more experience with this scenario?
Congrats! that's a good storry!
However, be careful. Buying a .com to sell it to a TM holder could cost you legal fees.![]()
Still no success with BB: 18/nil in fact
I thought 'ProBliss' may have made their cut. Oh well.
They recently accepted jobnoid, envoka, talkero, rockcomet
They seems to like strong word+ second word or suffix. They also like 4 5 6 Letter madeup word like vixxu yepza xavly (all waiting to be published)
Feel free to check my portfolio: http://brandchimp.com/
As far as made up names go, Vixxu.com looks like a winner to me. Solid candidate for sale. Yepza.com, Xavly.com, sorry, can't really see any startup choosing them as their brand. This said, as already pointed out before, it's BB's marketplace and they seem to know what they're doing, so who knows![]()
They've been hard on 4Ls. Used to be a time when any pronounceable 4L would be accepted.
I just had the following rejected:
KRV/D
KOP/L
RLE/R
both names are hard to pronounce imo.Abituria (something related to a gymnasium in German; there are a bunch of developed websites featuring this word)
Yeared ("containing years; having existed or continued many years; aged")
