Mixed reality will be branded as Holo, it's a no brainer. What sounds AND looks better - mrkit, or holokit?

But we will finally find out by the end of the year (hopefully) when the MagicLeap developer's kit is out (hopefully) and the first apps are being released.

@cordoba, I'm not quite as sanguine as you regarding the possibility of Magic Leap buttressing the "holo" naming convention (although that would be great!) Instead, I think they're just going to end up adding yet another entry to the AR/MR/Holo candidates - Remember ML's "cinematic reality" - And just confuse things even more... As you noted, we'll find out soon...

It keeps popping up on my FB news feed as they have one at Adventure Park USA near me, its like a Amusement arcade park. They now have a " HOLOGATE" section! Seems to be growing, and it's a great name and the tech looks good. I even like how my CADE and GATE both sound nice and share the same letters...its a good sign ! BTW so I guess this is technically speaking a VR gaming experience..branded with a HOLO name
