.US domains.US domains
Don't forget some will be acronyms, .....NyHolo or HoloNy. I guess the reverse may be desirable when first options disappear. Depends if you are enduser or not?

@DnEbook

I agree, but there are very few words that go in front that are better...so many more words to use as a suffix

@Josh R

I do like HoloBay & HoloSystem...nice names but you'll have to be patient with them

hi there.

would you be so kind and share thoughts on holographic+kw.com and hologram+kw.com?
do you own any? if so, did you have offers and/or sales? were they nice roi?

thanks!

I held HolographicModel for five years, got one offer for #1500 in the first month and never got another for the next five years. Ended up dropping it, currently only have two "holo" domains , so for me it's holo all the way. Holographic + Kw may work if used in conjunction with tech terms but likely to have less buyers lining up to buy them. Of course just my opinion, cheers

Did sell Holo + P r o m o for a token #200 last year

yeah.. I hold still few tens of holo/gram/graphic domains.. trying to drop lesser quality ones.. but with endusers you never know what they'll like.. cause they're still all decent keywords.. just because for holo there is way better keywords left thna say VR now... its not like we'll be seeing vrmodel.com expire.. and many other good ones.. this is why its bit harder to drop some holo names.. vs say VR.. cause of the many nice holo keywords left out there to own still now.

either way.. I sold holographichome.com for 1.5k last year.. holosmartphone 400 this year.. and noit much other action.. maybe couple low offers.

Honestly, I have a passel of 'em I've been hanging onto since the initial hype and absolutely zero sales action so far...

For example:
sport holo
travel holo
pay holo
bio holo
car holo
web holo
sex holo etc...

I even had a few plurals (kw + holos) which I've started dropping...

In contrast, the traditional Holo+kw (e.g. HoloPay, HoloStore, etc.) has experienced a nice uptick in interest recently... JMHO, but if I were in your shoes, that's where I'd put my money... ;)

Each situation is different, GoHolo or HoloGo .....first one thanks

I agree, for example I have BestHolo which is better than HoloBest, but in most cases, it's the keyword after Holo that will work best.

If something is working for you, stick with it I guess. I think avoid letting "holo" become like the Vr thread where everything under the sun seemed to get registered. Just remembered this from over five years ago ...... https://www.namepros.com/threads/hologramsigns-com.713183/

If you're trying to handregister a crap Holo name and find it's taken, it could be owned by me. But don't worry, it will drop at some point in the next 12 months, LOL!

Probably wont be me trying to register those names, every genre reaches a point where people seem to register anything just for sake of it, that's when you look to aftermarket, cheers!

I donโ€™t think there has been much left in Holo for a long time now. Most have been registered since and before 2005.

All the ones I tried to buy are pre - 2005 registered ones. I remember the last I bought Holo was HoloBeam.com, HoloImaging.com & a few on those lines

Hey Haris i do one about a 100 domains of Holo/Holographic all registered since 2005. In terms of sales I have sold 2 domains both Holo(Keyword) for 2000 & 2500 respectively. One of them was HoloSim.com & other is under nda.

I have recieved several offers on 2 domain of Holo(Keyword) the last was of 5000$ which I declined.

The only Hologram domain I have is iHolograms.com, never really saw much potential in investing in more names to be honest.

I still see ocassionally holo +kw .com.. or holographic that are dropping not renewed by preious owner.. after a good few years of holding.. sometimes 3.. or 4.. or more.. this happens to VR holdings too.. but very rarely.

one thing is for sure.. there is now a tremendously higher amount of holo+kw.com domains left to reg where the kw is of much higher quality than for what is left to reg for VR right now.

whcih does make it a bit hard to decide what to own in holo+kw.com... as compared to say VR.. which at least for current regs.. is a very easy choice.. as there is nothing more left to reg in vr.

cheers

I am all for Holo. And I am slightly biased as my portfolio of VR is limited to a handful of name slike vHeadset.com, MagicVr.com, VirtualRealityRoom.com, VirtualGamingHeadset.com, and stuff like that. About 20 long tails majorly.

However I havenโ€™t recieved enquiries on that to the level I have received on Holo ones.

iโ€™m not speaking for VR - but the notion that there are ANY holo+keyword names left to register is completely false. There is absolutely nothing (of worth anyway).
you may say some ridiculous name like HoloTires or some other really bad name (holobutton maybe) - but not a chance is there anything worth even a $1 promo sitting out there.

as far as holo on the backend
... there are not many... i have GetHolo and there are others like iHolo and maybe something productive like โ€˜exploreHOLOโ€™ would be good...
making one a brandable may be nice if it has a nice ring to it but as far as โ€˜keyword+holoโ€™... not really

nice vr names. I am big on VR. but my best VR domains are longtails. though
I also own a solid number of good VR+kw.com domains.

that being said, while I fully understand how best of the best holo domains (just as VR) are long regged and renewed each year... I find it very hard to not reg a few expired or otherwise holo domains still now.. because like I said the quality of what is left out there for holo keywords is just tremendously superoir to what we are all used to in VR.

I am sure people understand this dilema. this does not necessarily speak better of holo than VR or vice versa.. I am just stating facts not trying to make contest or compare. to make things even harder, I also like holographic+kw.. where I had one good sale.. and the occasional hologram+kw... so combine all 3 of these.. and you have yourself still today a good # of solid keywords .. to reg.. and to grab from others dropped domains.

such a dilema simply does not exist for VR today. minus a few exceptions in expired domains..

Just got a $200 offer on( holo *c*a*d*e ) today via Efty !

First one and I haven't even had it 2 months. It's not a enduser , just some guy who wants the name for his business which he has another name for , asked what I wanted for an offer and would pay a fair price but not paying anything "outrageous "..........I'm not selling at reseller price and I'm sure he won't like it if I respond , To me the potential value is high 4 digit low mid 5 ...and I'm sure he'll find it outrageous. ( basically 5k gets attention and the sky's the limit after that ) highly doubt I'd sell for less than 10k .

I wouldn't even consider giving it up for less than 5k and even then knowing holo tech sold for 14.5 and just my own personally belief ....I'm prepared to hold out until XX,XXX buyer comes along .

I want to respond without sounding rude but also letting him know he's not the buyer for my name.
